Andy McKay called up for the replacement of injured Kyle Mills

Kyle Mills got a quadriceps strain during the match against Canada
Andy McKay, left-arm fast bowler, has joined New Zealand World Cup squad as Kyle Mills, the New Zealand pace bowler, has been ruled out of the remainder of the World Cup contest due to an injury. Kyle Mills was not the prominent fast bowler of New Zealand side in the early stages of the tournament but Hamish Bennett's injury provided him his chance to show up. Mills participated in three games of the tournament but suffered from a quadriceps strain in his last games against Canada on 13th March. He missed the quarter-final triumph against South Africa. His injury had improved gradually but not fully fit to play in the semi-final with one of the Hosts Sri Lanka in Colombo on 29th March.
Andy McKay will join the side in Colombo on 27th March, two days remaining of the semi-final. McKay is the second replacement player in the New Zealand side after Daryl Tuffey, who came in for injured Hamish Bennett.
