Player of the match:    KAJ Roach (West Indies)

Umpires:        AM Saheba (India) and SJA Taufel (Australia)

TV umpire:        RA Kettleborough (England)
Kemar Roach was thrilled while picking up a hat-trick, Netherlands v West Indies, Group B, World Cup 2011, Delhi, February 28, 2011
Kemar Roach stuck Netherlands outfit as he had become sixth bowler to claim a World Cup hat-trick as West Indies cruised a 215-runs victory in Delhi. Netherlands who were in the race of chasing 331 for victory, but West Indies pace bowler Roach finished the game in style as claimed hat-trick in the last over of the Netherlands innings.
This was a vital match for West Indies who, coming into it, looked in danger of being drawn into a qualification combat in Group B. If they are to beat Bangladesh to the quarters they need their big guns to fire and they would have been relieved that Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard found their outlines before Roach's heroics.

Player of the match:    T Taibu (Zimbabwe)

Umpires:        Asad Rauf (Pakistan) and BNJ Oxenford (Australia)

TV umpire:        SJ Davis (Australia)

Tatenda Taibu top scored with 98, Canada v Zimbabwe, World Cup, Group A, Nagpur, February 28, 2011
Zimbabwean third wicket partnership between Tatenda Taibu and Craig Ervine propelled their side to 175-run triumph in Nagpur. Taibu and Ervine's 181-run stand which is Zimbabwe's highest third wicket partnership in ODIs and their fifth largest overall, they helped their team recover from a shaky start to drive to 298 for 8 on good batting wicket. While Zimbabwe spinners presumed full control sharing 37.1 over, all ten wickets of Canada were bowled out in the 43rd over.
Things got inferior to Canada four over later when, in consecutive deliveries, Price stuck out his left hand and held onto a chipped drive to get rid of Kumar and Ashish Bagai swept straight to short backward square. Jimmy Hansra safely negotiated the hat-trick ball but the damage had been done with Canada staring into the precipice at 7 for 3. Canada will play its next match with Pakistan on 3rd March.
