There are no doubts regarding the long batting lineup of Indian side, but today Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli showed their best as they can do for their team in World Cup matches, Virender Sehwag fired on Bangladesh's bowlers by his havoc batting, he did not miss any opportunity to hit out of the ground. Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli gave evidence of the chaos this Indian batting line-up can create during centuries that demoralized Bangladesh's bowlers. Shakib Al Hasan's men failed to maintain their equanimity in the grandest match of their lives and conceded a total beyond the reach of their batting skills. There was wisdom in Bangladesh opting to chase - the previous 12 day-night matches at the Shere Bangla were won by the team batting second - but their bowlers were errant on a slow pitch that kept low and had loopy bounce not conducive to shot-making. Shakib sought to keep India below 260 when he put them in because of the dew factor later in the evening. He stared at the target surge past that as Sehwag and Kohli, who justified his captain's decision to leave out Suresh Raina, dismantled the attack in front of a shell-shocked crowd and powered India to 370.
However, Bangladesh did not keep quiet as they have to cross a giant task, they started batting in very sensible style, Imrul Kayes started hitting in very puffy style and scored 34 in 29 balls when Patel bowled him, but after the loss of Kayes, Tamim Iqbal & Junaid Siddique set the position for mammoth mission, they did good partnership, but wickets have been fallen in regular manner after loss of Tamim Iqbal, Bangladesh scored 283 and that was very good response against the 371 of India. Sehwag was awarded for Man of Match in the post-match ceremony at Mirpur.
