Corruption – free World Cup would be as Lorgat confident

The ICC Chief executive Haroon Lorgat, has said that he is very certain about having a corruption – free World Cup tournament, especially after the anti – corruption tribunal has concluded to ban three Pakistani players on charges of spot – fixing.
He was very assured for two major grounds, firstly the immense majority of players are honest, they play the games with full of spirit as they should do. Secondly, we are very active regarding the means which could cause corruption. We have also some measures in those places but people forget. Lorgat has said that the sentences handed out were severe enough, and felt that it would prevent players in future. I think it would take someone very brave not to take heed of what has happened.
