Bennett injured, Tuffey called up for him

Hamish Bennett ruled out of remainder World Cup 2011
Hamish Bennett, the Kiwis pacer, has been ruled out of the remainder World Cup 2011 due to an ankle injury and Achilles tendon. Fast bowler Daryl Tuffey, who has been named for as a standby player for an injured Kyle Mills, he will join the New Zealand World Cup squad. Bennett wounded himself during New Zealand's previous game against Sri Lanka in Mumbai after bowling just 4.1 over, and hobbled in the field. He played four games this tournament, got six wickets.
New Zealand has been inundated by injuries in this World Cup with Mills suffering from a quad strain after bowling a couple of over against Canada, and skipper Daniel Vettori hurting his knee while attempting a catch in the game against Pakistan. Both missed the conflict against Sri Lanka in Mumbai, where New Zealand was expansively beaten. Tuffey, who had already arrived in India on Friday, had been playing for Auckland in the Plunket Shield. He has played 94 ODIs, maintaining 110 wickets with average 32.12.
